One of the students at Georgia State University Law School passed away in an automobile accident last week, according to an announcement.

According to the college, third-year law student Alex Patafio was murdered in an automobile accident on Thursday.  Georgia officials expressed their “heartfelt sympathies” to Alex’s family, friends, and coworkers during this difficult time.  She has worked as legal intern at The Arora Law Firm while earning Certificate in Public Interest Law and Policy.  She is one of 34 students who participate in community service projects and wants to become criminal defense lawyer, according to her school. As she tried to establish man’s innocence in case she spoke with you on Channel last month, Patafio said, “You know, we’re thrilled to have justice today.”  For armed robbery, Arthur Manning received six-month sentence.  Patafio and another law student, Robert Wilson, captured the encounter on cellphones while Manning wasn’t there.  The charges were withdrawn by DeKalb prosecutors once the evidence became public.
